Program notes: Stylometry is a discipline that determines authorship of works through the use of statistical analysis. I studied musical characteristics and idiomatic patterns of Sor’s Op. 35 for guitar by the means of the quantitative analysis of stylometric methods and I have then applied and tested those quantitative data for the development of strategies for the composition of new works. Prigioniero XXXV is the first result of this process. (Giovanni Albini)
